What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® provides a popular option for those looking for an alternative to traditional braces. Turner Orthodontics is proud to be the premiere Invisalign® provider in all of Cabarrus County.  As a Platinum Plus Invisalign® practice, we are in the top 5% of Invisalign® providers in the country.

Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable orthodontic aligners to move teeth rather than metal brackets and archwires. The aligners sit directly on the arches, are mostly invisible when worn, and can be removed for eating and home care. The aligners are worn for 22 hours a day, with each set typically worn for 1-2 weeks before moving to the next set. As treatment progresses with each new pair of aligners, the teeth move closer to their final position.

Invisalign® by itself does not dictate treatment, and the quality of your result depends directly on who is providing your orthodontic care. After completing dental school, Dr. Turner attended a three year orthodontic residency to learn how to appropriately diagnose each individual and achieve exceptional results.  Our office uses cutting-edge scanning technology (Itero), allowing us to create a simulation of your final results and avoid the need for messy dental impressions. (Add Invisalign® Platinum Plus….)
